The pilot consisted of BioRgasTM an Anaerobic Digester biologically treating about 200kg/day of organic wastes from the slaughter-house. During the biodigestion process, the waste was converted into biogas (which reached CH4 levels above 70%) and digestates which were further recycled by our Orga-R™ compSil composting silo. The digestates which have a high-nutrient value were mixed with structured carbonaceous green waste and composted to produce a bio fertiliser with high N content and liquid humic growth enhancers which have both been successfully tested in organic agriculture.
